Weight loss: 6 strategies for success - Mayo Clinic Weight loss and management is something that is going to take time and patience. Remember that excess body weight is gained over time and to expect to lose this weight quickly is not logical. It may take as much time to lose the weight as it did to gain it. Exercise and weight loss do not have to be complicated or expensive. Many people pay a lot of money for equipment, gym memberships, and trainers and still struggle with the motivation to stick to a plan. If one simply decreases portion sizes, reduces sugar/alcohol/sodium consumption, and buys some new tennis shoes and actually uses them -- you will find that you can reduce your weight and feel better without any fancy methods. I am a fitness trainer, and I don't mind taking people's money to help them on their fitness journey, however, anyone can create their own simple journey without much cost. Let's all take charge of our wellness journey and dive into recreating you! Personal Fitness Training (mazakets.com) #lifebymazak

Recently the news outlets have reported that Russia purposely targeted a busy train station and killed many civilians. Maybe it is just me, but this event seems to be staged in many ways or is some type of false flag event to discredit Russia. I am not saying that people did not die, or that this event was not a disaster, I am simply saying that the scenes, and results, seem to be inconsistent with an event like this. I have been following alternative news sources for a whole lot of years and have found it much easier to find inconsistencies in stories. Once again, I will say that I am by no means an explosives expert, but the pictures being posted about this event seem very suspicious. I would think that any missile in an attack like this would have been destroyed, yet it seems to be quite intact, on the ground, which is unharmed. Many of the vehicles and surrounding structures also remain untouched. Take a look at these pictures and decide for yourself. I truly hope that I am wrong about my assumptions....

Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) appears to hyper-accelerate electromagnetic activity in the pineal gland. LSD and psychedelics tend to force the pineal gland to release DMT, thereby accelerating its energetic process. It can be dangerous to use psychedelics -- the pineal gland’s electromagnetic activity can become stuck in the awakened conscious state. Schizophrenia, delusions, and hallucinations can result when the pineal gland remains open all the time. The safer and natural method for activating the pineal gland is accomplished with effective meditation. Shortcuts such as psychedelics provide shortcuts and have short-term effects. Nothing beats putting in the real work for long-lasting healing effects.

There are a lot of ideas and beliefs about our reality. There seems to be evidence that we could be living in any one of the following realities: Flat Earth with a dome over us. Global Earth hurtling through the universe. Virtual Reality or simulation. I know that our individual belief systems allow us to see the reality that we think is real, so each one of us will have a different experience. My question is this: Does it really matter what our reality is? Would knowing the truth change what we do in life, such as going to work, going to school, and surviving each day? What are your thoughts? www.lifebymazak.com #lifebymazak

Growth is certainly an important aspect of being a human being, but not everyone seems to take on that challenge. Our modern times have created many distractions to keep our minds from our true purpose. It seems that even when we are fighting to survive from paycheck to paycheck, being barraged by other distractions such as beer, football, and gambling, that tends to steal our attention away from what we should be doing to evolve to participate fully in our life purpose. Our societal norms just swarm us with so much stress and business, that we simply lose ourselves, and find that we become extremely exhausted, sick, diseased, and mentally strained. In many ways, it seems like the ultimate plan of those that lead us, to keep us so busy, distracted, and sick, that we don’t have the time nor the energy to stand our ground against the political machine. However, I digress. There are many reasons and excuses to never take the time to evolve and learn how much more capable we are as humans, and I could go on for a very long time about all the issues confronting us today. Most of the time it takes something very drastic in our lives to cause us to reassess who we are, what we should become, and how we prioritize our time. Personal transformation can certainly be life-changing and most of the time these life changes require dire circumstances in our lives. People do not tend to make drastic changes in their lives unless situations have forced them to take up a transformation journey; when life is moving along, even in an okay state, change does not seem to prevail in the forefront of our consciousness. There is nothing like a disaster, a terrible sickness, a traumatic accident, or a major relationship shift to kick us into the self-development and self-discovery mode. The human mind, especially the subconscious, tends to run on autopilot and not be concerned with changing anything when there are no great challenges to the automatic patterning of our minds; sometimes the only way we ever “lookup” is when we are flat on our backs at the absolute bottom of everything. Why would we even think of changing anything in our lives when we have become comfortable in our existence without any real major challenges facing us? When it comes to major transformation shifts, drastic action may require different action than simple accommodation. “In other words, it may be that some experiences are so profound, so far beyond what we’ve previously perceived, that they in effect demand that we transform our worldview to accommodate them.” Human growth can occur at any point in our lives, whether through tragedy, setback, or simply being sick and tired of being sick and tired. When we finally find ourselves, metaphorically on our backs, we truly have nowhere else to go except up. When we find ourselves at the bottom of our lives, it becomes the decision time, do we move forward, or do we continue to wallow in this pitiful experience. To be honest, I found that my bottom gave me the most clarification about what I needed to do than any other experience I ever had in this life. Now the personal growth journey that I undertook, was by no means, any fun, and was quite the opposite of fun. However, it turned out to be the most rewarding experience I have ever had. There must be a true purpose behind taking on the journey of self-discovery, and this journey never really ends but becomes much easier and enjoyable to partake in as time goes on. I wonder why it takes such personal tragedy to cause us to relook at ourselves. Being human has a lot of layers, and much of our future experiences, are formed and forged into hardwired pathways in our consciousness. Our patterns and habits are born out of the things that have happened to us and the perceptions that we form; the sad part is many people have no idea that they are simply operating on autopilot. It seems like our conscious mind is in charge of our lives, but it is only that 5-10% of brainpower that gives us direct awareness of our reality. The conscious mind is the part of our mind that organizes what our five senses are processing and helps to “train” our subconscious mind to help us automatically navigate our day. The true secret for growth as a human then is to purposefully train or retrain our subconscious mind to bring about change. Many people think that their current circumstances limit or control our ability to make these profound changes, however, that is the farthest from the truth. The picture included in this article show that trees can still grow and thrive in rock, by simply making a decision to thrive where they are. Ideally, a tree requires roots to be embedded in the earth, access to the sunshine, and regular watering; however, there are many examples of trees and plants growing where they should never logically be able to grow. In my mind, growth can happen anywhere you find yourself planted, and you don’t necessarily have to wait on ideal conditions in order to grow and flourish. Too many people believe that their circumstances need to change to allow them to make a change, but it is absolutely the opposite. Making changes to anything in your life must start within; in order to change anything in your life, you must become the change. You might look lean and clean on the outside, but the state of your inner being is the basis for who you are. Have you ever seen the race car shells, that looked like the real thing, until you opened the hood and saw a Volkswagen engine inside? Once you saw the inner workings of such a car, you would never imagine that car ever being able to reach its full potential; so why do we do the same with the human body? Too many of us try to hide our true selves behind clothes, makeup, and the things we own, yet never pay attention to the inner workings of ourselves. When we meet someone who finally gets to look under the hood of ourselves, we tend to find a whole different engine inside, which does not reflect the outer portrayal of the person. My recommendation is to get started on your own personal journey and do it without having some tragedy arrive in your life to MAKE you take on this journey. Also, if you want to be truly attractive to others, take the time to ensure that the engine matches the exterior!! Let’s quit being sheep, take on the lion mentality, and take charge of who we are, where we want to go, and who we want to be!!

The term “meditation” has been used quite frequently in recent years, however, I am not sure that the population, as a whole, truly understands what meditation is, and the benefits that you can receive by engaging in this practice. My life has been dramatically changed by the persistent and consistent practice of meditation; it has also taken my metaphysical practice to new levels and boosted my spiritual gifts. Of course, meditation is not necessarily about the individual engaging in this practice, but can be of benefit for many other people and situations. Let’s first begin with some of the ways that meditation is defined. “Living in a state of full, conscious awareness of one’s whole self, other people, and the context in which we live and work.” “Paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally, to the unfolding of experience moment to moment.” “Mindfulness means being awake, aware, and attending—to ourselves and the world around us.” “Meditation is a mental exercise that trains attention and awareness.” “Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.” Meditation can clearly be defined and explained in a number of ways, however, I would simplify this down to “the act of stilling and focusing the conscious mind, in order to listen to or communicate with the spiritual world.” I personally use meditation for some or all of the following reasons: To listen to messages from my spirit guides or the universe. To send out intentions to my spirit guides or the universe. Bring my thoughts down to near-zero to create a space to experience peace. Purposefully look in on another location – similar to remote viewing. Simply allow my spirit guides to engage me however they see fit. Currently, I can meditate and connect quickly and clearly, but I was not always good at this practice; even now, however, I have days where the connection is quite difficult and hard to achieve. One of the really neat things that I have recently noticed, is that I can literally bring my mind down to very few thoughts, which for many years seemed like an elusive objective. I think those that start meditation and don’t necessarily see results quickly, soon give up; however, if you stick with it, this practice can completely transform your life. The more you work with your connection and receive validation, the more centralized and specific it will become. This is like weightlifting for your consciousness -- you must continue to train so you can develop the connection muscle! Also remember that not everyone is designed to sit on a mountain top, cross-legged, and smoke a pipe when conducting meditation; there are a very large number of methods to approach reaching the mindfulness of meditation. Some people are very content and effective at sitting still for meditation, while others have such an active mind that this technique would be virtually impossible. Most of my clients have minds that operate at a continuous high pace, without the ability to slow it down; in this instance, it is better to consider a kinesthetic or moving meditation or a guided meditation. Dr. Joe Dispenza is quite the master of meditation and backs all of his work with hard science. One of my favorite meditation tracks designed by him is his walking meditations which can be found here. He also has a large number of great resources for meditation on his website. To be honest, if you ask 100 people how to meditate, you get at least 100 different answers. I decided to learn meditation by myself and just experimented with a couple of different methods. The main and easiest way for me to connect was by using a 20-minute piece of music, that was not any know tune that my mind would capture and follow. I utilized headphones while sitting still with my eyes closed while listening to this soundtrack and attempted to focus my mind on the task at hand. I struggled for at least a month to reach any semblance of centralizing my thoughts enough to hear or send intentions to the spirit world, however, I finally was able to reach that place within 20 minutes. As I continued to practice, I began to reach this wonderful space in less and less time, so that my 20 minutes was better connected. Eventually, all it took was for me to simply start the soundtrack and I had a solid 20 minutes of communicating with the spirit world. As you might imagine, my meditation muscles had developed well over the months, and now I can meditate without any sound. I have also found that I have an enormously wonderful experience with mindfulness and communication with the spirit world when I am exercising or pushing my body in some way. I often go on long walks and come home loaded with new experiences that I had along my walking journey. Sometimes classical meditation will not work well for someone, and it may have to be simple and intermittent connections throughout the day when prompted by something that seems to be happening from outside of ourselves. Whatever method you find yourself connecting purely to the spiritual world, you will certainly find great rewards and personal growth from your attention to the communication from the universe or the spiritual world. I have had so many wonderful experiences, that it would be impossible to capture all of them in a short article. I wish I had started my meditation journey long ago, however, it is never too late to start, and you will find yourself in a much better place for routinely practicing meditation. #lifebymazak www.lifebymazak.com

As the world knows – Russia began an invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February. The media outlets, including the alternative news channels, have increasingly made it difficult to know the truth of why this is happening. The stream of news today has pitched Russian president Putin as the bad guy, and Ukraine president Zelensky as the good guy; however, how can any of us sit in judgment of this situation without knowing the actual truth? The bottom line is that there are people on both sides, Russian and Ukrainian that are suffering and dying because of the current situation. Most of the world is greatly separated from this conflict, and are only feeling the pain of rising costs and effects of the financial markets. But it seems easy to judge from a distance because most of us do not have a war on our doorsteps, but conflict can easily find its way to us, and it has. This conflict is not just a problem that is resident with Russia and Ukraine but lies with the entire population of the planet. Those of us that are not directly involved in this conflict still have an obligation to support all those involved in this catastrophe. I have spent a lot of time in the military, and the pathway of conflict is simple. If you are the gunner, then shoot. If you are not the gunner, then load the weapon. If you are not the loader, then supply the loader. If you are the supplier, then support in any way you can. Everyone has a part in the mission, and we should all be doing our part. Our part does not come through fighting against the war and the politics involved with this action, for what we fight, we become. If we are fighting against those who wage war, then we are no better than those who are doing the fighting. Even Mother Teresa stated that she would never support a rally against war, but would wholeheartedly support a peace rally. We must become the change that we are seeking, and not fight the same thing that we are trying to change. Many religious writings suggest and state that gathering together with others can multiply the outcome of change. There is absolutely something that we can do from afar that can affect the outcome of this conflict, and I challenge each of you to find time each day towards this change for peace, love, and safety of ALL those involved in this conflict. We must also include those leaders that have effectively incited this operation and are now perpetuating this into a grand scale of suffering. We should remember that even high-level leaders are only human and are acting through the lens of the human emotion program, just like everyone else on this planet. I challenge everyone on this planet to take time daily, even if it is a few minutes, to lift up the positive energy for all the people of Russia and Ukraine. There are many methods to lift the positive vibration of this situation – some folks will meditate, some folks will invoke ascended masters and saints, some will pray to their God, and others will work through established rituals. No matter how you perceive raising and sending positive energy across the planet, we need to bond together in this effort to positively affect the outcome of this war and establish peace, love, and safety of all those who are suffering at the hands of this war. Take time today, right now, and lift these human beings up and change the energy of this conflict!!!
