The Symphony of the Universe

Now and then, we encounter something that catches our attention, yet at the same time makes no sense at all. I saw the above picture on my computer the other day, and it really made me stop and think about this reality. Sure, the white circles are probably from the sun streaming through the window, and the perfect capture of the picture of the screen saver wave created this awesome snapshot. Isn’t it amazing what we can capture and notice if we simply learn to pay attention to what is going on around us? For me, though, this simple picture tells a strange story of the complexity of the universe and our reality.
I do not think that anything in our lives is by accident; not that everything is necessarily deterministic in nature, but clearly, we are being provided with information and guidance from somewhere outside of ourselves. I had a very in-depth conversation with a friend of mine from another country the other day, and we both seemed to be very baffled about the idea of what free will is. Is everything that happens to us, and for us, in our lives, completely planned out in every detail? Do we even have any choices in how our lives play out? Are we simply some character, or being, in some scripted play, that has everything chosen for them? What if we are just some players in a game, an electronic matrix that comes into the game with a script to play? Perhaps I am asking more questions than answering any. The picture above seems to show me what this existence might be: some type of programmed reality, with many timelines running at the same time, and a life layered amongst all of them.
In some ways, the idea I see in this picture shows that our lives cross amongst many different and perhaps parallel versions of ourselves. If that idea is reality, then the choices we think we are making just might move us amongst the other versions of ourselves. Maybe we are creating new timelines every time a decision is made, and the life we are living is different than the version of ourselves that we left behind before that decision was made; that is clearly a big assumption. This idea is not new; however, it has been talked about and scientifically tested for eons. Most of us believe that we are making decisions using our conscious mind, but science has shown that our subconscious mind makes decisions as early as 7 seconds before our conscious mind is aware of the decision. If that is really true, then we may not be making decisions or choices at all but only realizing that they have been made and claiming them as our own.
What if we are under the illusion of free will and choices? An example I would like to give is from an event that happened about a week ago. I was out walking on a rugged and rocky trail one night at the camp where I work. As I was walking, I had a flash vision of slipping and falling on the rocky trail onto my right forearm and elbow. I estimate that about 15 seconds later, I slipped and fell exactly as I witnessed in my flash vision. I had to sit there for a few minutes and ponder what just happened to me. Was this something that some part of my consciousness knew was coming, and I was being warned about the event? Was this my imagination that manifested the event to happen rather quickly? This type of thing truly gets a man thinking about free will and determinism. If we know things, seconds before we are consciously aware of them, then perhaps the future is already written or scripted. Even if our lives are not scripted, the foreknowledge clearly speaks of information that is being downloaded from somewhere else. Where, and how, do we get this information from? Many would say that it is enlightenment from God, angels, or spirit guides, but it certainly comes from somewhere. As a psychic, I often wonder if seeing into the future for myself and others means that the future is already decided. It could also be a way of peeking into future events that will occur if we don’t change some things and make decisions, to break off a new timeline and create a different version of ourselves. How do we even know what version of ourselves we are living? If new timelines are created with every new choice, there must be an infinite number of timelines, and we cannot possibly be consciously aware of all of them.
No matter how I, or anyone else, tries to explain this idea, it seems vastly complex and difficult to understand within our limited human existence. Imagine if we could remember every decision and branch that we create? That seems quite laborious, but it would be helpful to at least remember a number of them so that we do not make some of the same uneventful choices again. I do hope that choices help us become better versions of ourselves, because there are times that I feel like my life is on a wash, rinse, and repeat, without really changing. I personally like change, because without change, life will become very depressing and boring, in my opinion. If we begin to notice and accept change in our lives, we can probably assume that a decision was made somewhere along the way, whether by us or by a higher power that flows through us.
Maybe those decisions we think we are making are simply an alignment with the true message that is flowing through us? What if no one is manifesting anything, but only being allowed to synchronize with our pathway when we are ready for the next change, or new timeline branch? Maybe that is why much of our lives are so much more prosperous and rewarding when we do not try to force change, but simply go along with the change, like following the river downstream? Have you ever noticed that when you are strongly seeking something, it seems to move farther away from you? I am not saying that we should just sit back and wait for the universe to do everything for us; I am suggesting that we learn to align with the messages that we receive throughout our lives, like noticing the picture above on the screen of your computer.
If you take the time to be mindful of what is happening around you each day, you will be extremely amazed at the messages and guidance that you will receive. Maybe that is the secret – to learn to be an accepting listener of the universe and let it guide you where your life is best served. Once you align with the guidance of the universe, you will find yourself on the best timelines of your existence. If you don’t tune into the music of the universe, you may not like the timeline that you get stuck existing within. Do yourself a favor and turn your senses into the beautiful music of the universe, and you will be greatly surprised and rewarded!
